England Creek Ranch is a
forty acre farm that has been in our family since 1910.
History behind this "Ranch" property, as well as outlines to our
current projects can be found on this web site. Our
intention is to raise quality animals that are well suited to
being around humans. The goats are raised more like our
own pets and cared for in the same way, The cattle are new to
the ranch as of the turn of the century. We have a near
climate-controlled barn that is insulated against the winter
cold and the summer heat. The barn has spring-fed running water
supply from three springs on the ranch. The pastures are
rotated at least every thirty days. There is a five acre
pasture that is rotated seasonally to provide green forage year
round. Since we are in the piney woods of East Texas,
growing plants year round is not difficult, as there never seems
to be a shortage of rainfall. Debbie is earning her
"goatology" degree under the tutelage of James Kyle.. Please take time to explore our ranch and some of it's history.
