Welcome to Our Ranch!!!
England Creek Ranch is a 40 acre farm that has been in our family since 1910. The "Our Ranch" pages tell some of the interesting history behind this property, as well as outlines our current projects. Our intention is to raise quality critters that are well suited to being around humans. The goats are raised more like pets and cared for in the same way. We have a near climate-controlled barn that is insulated against the winter cold and the summer heat. The barn has spring-fed, running water from 3 springs on the farm. The pastures are rotated at least every 60 days. There is a five acre pasture that is rotated seasonally to provide green forage year round. Since we are in the piney woods of East Texas, growing plants year round is not difficult, as there never seems to be a shortage of rainfall. Debbie is earning her "goatology" degree under the tutelage of James Kyle, a long time friend and well known individual in the Boer Goat Industry. Please take time to explore our ranch and some of it's history. And feel free to browse through our goats to see if any suit you. Tim Pierce We always welcome any feedback. If you have any comments, questions, or goat needs, please feel free to email me at: tim@ecrboers.com. You can also email Debbie at: debra@ecrboers.com.
